July 18th Market Update: ⛈️☔️

Unfortunately, due to the current air quality in the GTA and the impending thunderstorm this weekend, we will be NOT be attending the Milton Farmers’ Market this Saturday, July 18th.

Although the Milton Farmers’ Market runs rain or shine, in the event of a thunderstorm or active weather, the market will be cancelled, which based on the current forecast seems like a high probability. NOTE: At the time of us posting, the market itself has NOT been cancelled, but keep an eye on Milton Farmers' Market for all official market updates. 👀

We never want to compromise on quality and because our products are perishable, sensitive to weather (nobody likes a soggy loaf of bread!), and take multiple days to prepare (due to the long slow fermentation process, which provides all of those added health benefits!), we have had to make the early decision to pull out of this weekend’s market as a precaution.

If you have placed a pre-order with us this week, please check your email for further updates and information on your order! 💌

We are truly devastated to cancel as there is nothing that we love more than baking for you and spending our Saturday mornings at the market with all of you, but unfortunately are at the mercy of Mother Nature and with the current air quality being reported as some of the worst in the world, we need to prioritize safety over sourdough. 🤍

We will be back in full force next weekend (Saturday, July 25th) with some very exciting new menu items alongside your favourite classics!

sending strawberry season off in style 🍓🍓🍓

with how much y’all have been loving our ontario strawberry sourdough muffins, we went straight to the source this week and picked our own! 🧺

we are pausing our wild blueberry muffins this week to feature these beauties, but don’t fret, blueberry will be back! 🫐

there will be plenty of muffins this saturday, but come early because you really don’t want to miss these!

you’ll also see some new seasonal menu items hitting our booth in the coming weeks which we are so excited to share with you 👀

This Saturday, March 28th, will be our final weekend at the Connon Nurseries Winter Market and also our last weekend doing deliveries to Florence Meats in Oakville before we head into our annual six week break. ✨

After a busy winter season, we will be taking some time to rest, reset, and start prepping for the upcoming summer market season! We have absolutely loved being part of the Connon Nurseries Winter Market and having our bread available at Florence Meats, and are so grateful for all of the support the community has shown us over the past few months. It truly means the world to us 🥹🤎

To celebrate our last winter market this weekend, we’ll be bringing a TON of product to Connon Nurseries so everyone has a chance to grab their favourites before our break! 🥖✨

And the good news is we’ll be back before you know it!

We’re so excited to announce that you can find us at the Milton Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8am to 12pm, May 16th through October 17th and we are already so excited for another amazing summer season in Milton! 🌞🍞🍪🥖

We will be away from the bakery this week, so you won’t find us at the Connon Nurseries Market and we won’t be doing our weekly bread drop at Florence Meats this Saturday, February 28th.
