I have to say, aside from a little work on the shaping, these sourdough baguettes have exceeded my expectations! The thin crispy exterior and perfect crumb are by far the best that I have come out of my kitchen... I'm pretty sure you could put anything on this and it would taste good!

In the test kitchen today! Trying my hand at sourdough baguettes! 😍

This is the second recipe adjustment. This dough requires a full 24 hour proof, 18 hours of which is in the fridge. This builds flavour and that beautifully airy crumb. Perfect for making garlic bread or bruschetta 🤤

I'll post later to let you all know how it turns out! Maybe it'll be our next menu item...

Welcome to Savour Sisters.

We’re Kalee and Christine — sisters‑in‑law who share a love for slow, small‑batch, handcrafted baking. Savour Sisters is our made‑to‑order baking project here in Sudbury, where everything is created with care, intention, and a whole lot of time spent around dough.

Our focus is on honest, home‑baked sourdough: soft dinner rolls, rustic loaves, and seasonal treats made with simple ingredients and a hands‑on approach. Each batch is prepared fresh for the orders we take, keeping things personal and true to the way we like to bake.

We’ll post here when our order list opens and what we’re offering for the month.
