Here’s a 3-tier 8” vanilla chiffon with mascarpone whipped cream. For a summer-y flavour, I can add in lemon curd or fresh fruits in-between layers. 🍓🍋🍍🍑🥭

I want to share this super cute sunflower-themed cake before the sunflowers are all gone.

Side story - we planted sunflower seeds back in April, watered them every day; they were finally blooming and we went away mid-September forgetting to ask someone to water them for us. We came back to wilted sunflowers. ☹️ We will need to be more vigilant next year!

At least this sunflower cake was able to brighten up a whole room of guests celebrating a very special one year old!! Thanks for ordering this cake!

Here’s another milestone cake to share! I’ve done a few 40th celebration cakes this year, with a few more still in the works.

The “4” was a chiffon cake with mascarpone whipped cream, while the “0” was a classic vanilla cake with buttercream. Both topped with meringue, chocolate and pocky sticks.
