We just LOVE apple season in Nova Scotia, and what a bounty this year has brought us!
Naturally, we dug out our family recipe and baked this lovely apple cake, generously filled with beautiful Nova Scotia apples and nestled between layers of buttery pastry.
You can find it in our display case this week!

Come by our café and take your pick: our popular ancient grain Kamut loaves, seriously seeded whole wheat bread, little fluffy white seeded buns, or our beautifully soft, olive-oil-baked focaccias.
All made with 100% premium organic flours… naturally.

Dear South Shore,
Find these lovely artisanal breads tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th at the Lunenburg Farmers' Market and our cafe in Lunenburg. Your beloved kamut bread, and a brand new companion…stoneground whole wheat, fully organic, of course, with plenty toasted sunflower seeds and flax throughout. Just lovely with some cured ham, or a nice aged cheese…earthy, nutty, and full of goodness.

Happy Fall, dear South Shore! 🍂
We’re back from a busy summer season with a brand-new Danish - and this one is for the connoisseurs!
Think baked poached pears, shaved prosciutto, lemon-whipped feta, topped with beautifully ripe Black Mission figs, pistachios, and a drizzle of honey - all on beautiful layered flaky croissant pastry. A little sweet, a little savoury, and very much a taste of early fall.
They made their debut this weekend and will be gracing our display throughout the coming week.
We look forward to seeing you! And stay tuned - our new Fall menu is coming very soon. 🍁
