We recently heard about this famous cinnamon bun with strawberry buttercream from somewhere up North, and last week while we were in Thunder Bay, we found the legendary Persian donut in just about every bakery. So naturally… we had to make our own 👀

Pączki Day in Poland is celebrated on Fat Thursday (Tłusty Czwartek), the last Thursday before the season of Lent begins, which happens to be tomorrow Feb 12th🇵🇱✨

It’s basically the sweetest day of the year, when bakeries fill their shelves with fluffy, golden pączki (Polish doughnuts) stuffed with strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and plum preserves, or custard and dusted with powdered sugar or glazed to perfection.

Tradition says you should eat at least one… but let’s be honest, no one stops at just one. 😉🍩

It’s all about enjoying life’s little indulgences, gathering with friends and family, and celebrating with something delicious before the season changes.
