I wanted to reach out to all of you to apologize but my cake and baking hobby has been destroyed with the rest of my house and all of my parrots, 2 dogs and our cat from a massive fire that happened Thursday. I was in the hospital dealing with Congestive Heart Failure.
To everyone who I bake and donate throughout the Christmas Season, I sincerely apologize and hope that it doesn't affect your christmas gatherings too much. As much as I loved to discover creativity, I will truly miss the ability to pay it forward as much as could. Baking and Pastry was a passion filled with love that made me truly humble to donate and make people's special moments more magical and memorable.
I am in unknown waters. The loss of my babies, my beautiful home, my cake and baking and my health is too much for me to process all at once. I never thought I would have to worry about where I would sleep in the next few days or not having the warm feeling of love from my parrots. We lost our 3 African Greys (Coco, Dayna and Edie), our Blue and Gold Macaw (Blue), 2 Malti poos (Daisy and Diamond) and our Gentle Beautiful cat (Shadow).
Thank you for listening and to all my special families Thank you for making every cake request a memorable one. I loved all your creative ideas and being part of your special moments.
In the coming weeks , we are going to be trying to salvage any of the work I did. Unfortunately we lost our computers, flash drives, as well as our spare hard drive., but although its very unlikely I'll be able to find any pictures, I hope to be able to bake and cake for family and friends again.
