Made a banana cake today for a special order.
Different than banana bread, and it has a cream cheese icing!

It was for a birthday party so they didn't want me to take a slice to try it.

It's been requested we might do a gluten-free option, so in honour of here it is, our big deal:

The Gluten-Free Lemon Drop Cookie!

This is our first gluten-free product, and, man, does it pack a punch!
It's like lemon Starburst on steroids, only this flavour is all-natural.

I always heard gluten-free stuff was crap, but this is actually a great cookie! Soft, sweet, and with a lemon taste like you've never experienced.
We might even use this recipe to come up with an orange drop as well.

Only that one package in the picture made it to The Art Shoppe this morning. Oh No! The other package was snagged up before it could get there. (batches are small)

Are you excited for our big announcement?

While you're waiting, we have the great pleasure of introducing you to the next evolution of snickerdoodle. The cookies you are about to see are YUGE, being the product of secret experimentation in the kitchen!

You've heard of the Apple Snickerdoodle?

Now meet the SEA SALT CARAMEL APPLE SNICKERDOODLE!!! (that's a mouthful. literally.)

Soft cinnamon snickerdoodle cookie base with an apple-cinnamon centre, topped with home-made sea salt caramel and drizzled with icing.

These things are enormous and sweet and, well, see for yourself.
They'll be at The Art Shoppe in a little over an hour.

3 packages of Apple Snickerdoodles and 2 packages of Sea Salt Caramel Apple Snickerdoodles will be on their way.

Happy Friday! Fruity Friday we'll call it and we'll start with:

Meet the Blueberry Muffin Cookie! WARNING: Probability of squirting berries!
This subtle delight is, of course, soft with a hint of lemon in the background from the freshly zested lemon and a good dose of fresh lemon juice.

The lemon icing complements it, but when you bite into a fresh blueberry BEWARE!! The flavour is exquisite!

And fresh.

There are 4 packages of these heading to The Art Shoppe this morning, each filled with fruity goodness.

So it was baking day today and we have a fruit fiesta planned for The Art Shoppe tomorrow: blueberries, apples, bananas and lemonmania!

Giant Chewy Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter and Chewy Chocolate Chip cookies on the shelf today at . The Art Shoppe

Chocolate chip are still warm from the oven this morning!

Three packages of Canada Day Cloud cookies are still there! These cookies are still sweet and still soft deliciously sweet!

Get them now because it may be a while before they are on the shelf again.

Since our Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies sold out, it made sense to fill 'er up.

I noticed the mixture looking at me. So I whisked it.

Holy Smokes! All of our Giant Chewy Chocolate Chip cookies are gone!
