Not A Bakery Is it a bakery? No, it's not a bakery. It's just a guy who makes cookies. Everything is full of YUM. Nothing healthy to see here.

Sinfully delicious, soft, decadent, gourmet cookies made with fresh, quality ingredients and nothing artificial.

Oh ya. And cloud cookies and banana bread this weekend. Thursday was lie down on the floor and don't move all day because the grandkids just left.

Well, that was a busy week! My grandsons Ernesto and Nikolai (aka my granddaughters Lillian and Rebecca) stopped by for a few days and we made our own fruit snacks!

Lemon, lime, orange, watermelon, blueberry, cherry, strawberry, mixed berries, and grape.

Then we layered different combinations and cut them into shapes.

These were real Kandy crowns!

So Thursday wasn't baking day. It was physiotherapy day.

Friday there was something with sticks in the yard. It was hot. I'm old. I'm sure I don't really need to remember.

But today was baking day.

Peanut butter and chewy oatmeal raisin for an upcoming birthday 🎂

Shhhh.🙊 Super secret news: Ernesto and Nikolai will be making a return visit to the kitchen!

Did anyone say fruit snacks made at home?

This week's "Have one or two and stare at this for a while" is peanut butter.

Eating this now.

Good morning! I'm sorry to tell you that due to technical difficulties and unforseen circumstances and rules and stuff we can no longer offer baked treats at The Art Shoppe.

Before anything else, I would like to offer my heartfelt ❤️ thanks to Nicole, Jared, and Sam for their encouragement and support. (And for eating so many cookies!)

Thank You!

That doesn't change the fact that Thursday is baking day and you have yet to meet the Brownie Cookie!

This decadent treat is a brownie disguised as a cookie with fudge brownie icing. There's a crapload of cocoa and sugar and butter in here so you'll need milk to drink!

Sorry, none left over today, but check back each week to see what's up on baking Thursday!
