A little pause before the seasons change. 🌾

After such a full & wonderfully busy summer, our little sourdough kitchen is taking a tiny break. We’ll be closed from August 24th–30th, reopening Monday, August 31st.

To everyone who has supported our little bakery this summer — whether you found us at a market, stopped by the bake stand, or placed a home order — thank you, truly. Every loaf, every order, every kind word & familiar face means more than you know. 🤎

We’re taking this week to slow down, reset, soak up the very last little bits of summer & enjoy some unhurried days with the little ones before we all tumble into the rhythm of fall. 🍂

And because I can never stay away from the oven for too long… there will be a limited number of Sourdough Flight Boxes available for pickup this Friday! If you’d like to be on the list, just send me a message & I’ll get you added. 🥖

This Sunday, August 23rd, we’re bringing along all the cozy, homemade goodness you’ve come to love — from local makers, small businesses & friends who pour so much love into what they create. 🤎

And yes… I’ll be bringing my sourdough along too.

It’s self-serve — wander in, fill your basket, pay by the honour system & be on your way with a little local goodness.

Yesterday’s market was truly one for the books & we’re feeling so incredibly grateful.

Because of you, yesterday became:

✨ one of our top sales days of the season
✨ the most loaves we’ve ever sold at a single market
✨ our fastest sell-out of the season — just over an hour!

Thank you for filling your tables with our loaves, supporting our little bakery & making every market feel so special. 🌾

These glazed sourdough donut bites have earned quite the following.

They're soft, pillowy, lightly glazed & made with the same slow-fermented care as the loaves that started it all.

It never feels right to let good baking go to waste.

Yesterday's market extras are waiting on the porch & looking for a home —fresh sourdough loaves, cinnamon rolls, donuts, cookies + a few other homemade treats.

If you're able, pay what you can by dropping it in the mailbox. If money is tight, please just take what you need — no questions asked.

Everyone deserves fresh baking. 🌾

You'll find me at the Combine Crunch tonight at the Lamont Ag Grounds from 5-8 PM with a table full of fresh, homemade bakes.

We're bringing plenty of grab-and-go treats for snacking while you enjoy the festivities, along with a limited number of fresh sourdough loaves to take home for the weekend. 🌾

If you're headed out for an evening of country fun, I'd love for you to stop by & say hello. 🤍
