Heather Rogan established her business in 1990, when she began by making chocolates for her sister’s wedding. Her 10 month old daughter, Anastasia, was her inspiration for the name. Business quickly took off and Heather found herself needing a store so she could spread the joy and awe that her chocolate creations gave her customers. It was in 1996 when she opened her business in Hanover, selling h
andmade truffles, chocolate goods and also giftware. Later she decided to expand with ice cream, drinks and desserts – the malted milkshakes and Mexican fried ice cream were popular choices. The second location in Kincardine was opened in 2010 due to a large demand for Anastasia’s Chocolates around the globe (Owen Sound, Toronto, New Foundland, and even Brazil and China!). Anastasia’s Chocolates are all handmade and do not include preservatives, so the taste is not affected. Being handmade, Anastasia’s Chocolates can be personalized to your taste. We can do that for you. You want our pretzels dipped in diabetic chocolate? We can do that too. Anastasia’s provides many delicious chocolate treats, including the very popular and trademarked item the “Volcano” which contains cashews, marshmallow cream and handmade caramel. Among this, Heather also offers turtles, chocolate pizza, hand dipped chocolate pretzels, chips, licorice and so much more! There are over 25 truffle flavours to choose from on any given day, as well as a selection of sugar free chocolates. The seasonal pumpkin pie truffles are second to none, and leave you counting down the days until they return. We also have over 12 flavours of London Ice Cream to offer year round, as well as old-fashioned coke floats, sundaes and ice cream cakes!
