The Spooky Astronauts Drawing Club is a Choose Your Own Adventure Drawing Club. Every Astronaut draws, every Astronaut has a voice. We are a 50+ member art collective from Ontario, Canada. With group and solo shows in Toronto, Hamilt
on, Port Stanley, Barrie, St. Johns & Windsor (Ontario), we have been actively participating in the Canadian arts community. Most notably, we have been included in The Scarborough (Ontario) Arts Council's Big Art Book 2 years in a row, also winning a Juror's Choice Award. We have also contributed album art to a local punk/hardcore label called Schizophrenic Records. The club started as 3 friends getting roaring drunk off Redstripe beer, listening to records, hanging out with the neighbour's cat and screaming at each other. We've had 50+ members participate in the creative process with as wide a range as artists shortlisted by The Globe & Mail to pure amateurs to children with autism spectrum disorder. We only accept submissions. We make card stock prints, plaque mounts, buttons, stickers, magnets, men out of boys and women out of men. Commissions start at 200$ minimum. We require half the design fee up front.
