It is with very heavy hearts that we announce that Sunday, January 25th will be the last day of service for all locations of Vandal Doughnuts.

This shop was built for Halifax - for slow mornings, familiar faces, and the quiet comfort of becoming part of a neighbourhood’s routine. What began as a doughnut shop grew into a small community hub, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who walked through our doors and made it feel that way.

To our team: thank you for the care, warmth, and consistency you brought every day.
To our community: thank you for supporting us, showing up, and letting Vandal be part of your lives.

The restaurant industry has always been a tough business, and sometimes you pivot until you do a complete 360 and end up back where you started. We legitimately tried everything we could think of to keep the doors open, but it just wasn’t to be.

This chapter is coming to an end, but what was built here was real, and I’ll always carry it with me.
