Hello friends! I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of Summer, lots of adventures awaiting, beautiful sunny days and outdoor activities to be done! Such a beautiful time. I am here to make a joyful announcement 🕊️♥️ For a little while I am going to stop the bakery production, the Lord has done it again and another little miracle is on her/his way 🥹🙏🏻🕊️♥️ All glory to Him 🫂🙏🏻🕊️I couldn’t be more happy, but it’s becoming a bit challenging forme to catch up with all (with 3 lkids and a loving husband life can get so busy already 😅) and as always my family it is my priority so I would be taking some time off to make sure I have enough energy to serve the Lord and my family with all I have. We are called to make disciples,to be the likeness of Jesus, to serve with gladness, to love our neighbours, and do it all for the glory of God, but if we can’t do it first in our homes, with our family, what re we even doing? 🕊️♥️I want to thank everyone who has supported Holycannoli in the past year, it has been amazing and I am so so grateful for all of you. Stay tuned cause I’ll be back with your favourite things before you know it 😘. I love you so much. Sourdough bread can be a blessing for our body. It is such a simple yet highly nutritious food. If done correctly bread can and should be part of a nourishing healthy diet and lifestyle.
Like God teaches us through the Bible it is not wise to eat and gather more “manna” than what our bodies need.

With tonight supper Jesus thought me that even when and if we are about to face atrocities, even if the circumstances don’t seem in our favour, even if the person next to us can betray us any second; There is still time to pause and be grateful, to cheer at eternity and to the road ahead of us. He showed me that no matter what today looks like it is still a gift from above ,every single day is a gift and is worth celebrating sharing bread with one another, in remembrance of his unforgettable sacrifice, because he gave us eternal life, so, no matter what my brothers and sisters, let’s rejoice in Him. Did you ever think that you would really like to have a pizza night with your family every week, but then ,all the joy goes away at the thought of how expensive would be or the toll that your health would take?Well, I have got your back!
The Italian way of pizza making is a wholesome practice, it’s relaxing, fun , easier than you think and so so enjoyable. Not to mention that when made right pizza can be a healthy, nutritious meal just like any other. YES I promise! I would love to share “the way” with you, and have you enjoy delicious pizza every week with your family and taking all the credit for it 😉.
I can come in the comfort of your home for a quick 3 hour class where I’ll teach you how to make pizza and focaccia NONNA STYLE , no fuss and no equipment needed. GRACEFUL TABLE 🕊️☀️

Hi friends it’s me, the Cannoli lady! I have always been on a mission to gift people smiles and joy through food and now that I have a bit more time on my hand I have the opportunity to help some people who really could use some joy and smile. Graceful table is born from Holycannoli and is a non profit meal prep organization destined to women and children in need in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. The mission is to deliver as many healthy wholesome meals as we possibly can. BUT. As much as I would love to I can’t do it without some help. So my friends, if you are able to make any kind of donation that would be appreciated beyond words. I am in need of any canned beans/vegetables, eggs, all purpose flour, rice, pasta, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, food containers, oil for cooking . If you can make a monetary contribution that would be greatly appreciated as well. Any little gesture will make a big impact in this people life and well being.

Easter is around the corner and in Italy it means one thing… 🕊️COLOMBA EVERYWHERE 😅🤣
COLOMBA is a traditional Italian Easter sweet bread that allegedly (I honestly never seen the resemblance as a kid) should represent the white dove 🕊️, the Holy Spirit of our Lord. It is a soft , sweet but not too sweet delicious bread that, here me out of, needs a full bath in a warm cappuccino to really shine, or better, as per tradition in my family for Easter breakfast you cut two slices , you take the biggest piece of chocolate egg you can find , you put it in between and you make the most delicious sandwich of your life. If you are brave enough you can also add a slice of two of peppercorn salame in the mix(trust me on this) 🙌🏻👩🏻‍🍳. Don’t judge until you try!

You didn’t ask but…sharing is caring so there you have it! As much as I do not think there is anything wrong with gluten , I would say that I am one of the few gluten ambassadors out there 🤣unfortunately some folks really can’t digest this plant protein and it bothers them so much that are forever forced to stay away from many delicious foods that us bakers, with our God given skills come to create. If you ask me it sounds unfair, but we have the solution so why not? Do we have to eat cookies? For sure not, but if it makes you smile and makes your tummy happy too then I tell you go for it 🥰. All this to say, I would love for you gluten free people out there to be able to enjoy some very delicious food that is healthy and nutritious at the same time. So stay tuned cause I am working for you! 😘
