This little boy from Michigan is turning 11, his mom has started this page because he has had difficulties in school due to some medical issues and his fellow school mates will not befriend him. He turned down a birthday party as he said nobody would come. His mom started this page (Feb4th)asking for people to wish Colin a happy Birthday to show him, he has friends, people care about him, and he's not alone! Please if you a Parent in Fort Mcmurray (especially school aged children) Please take the time to read this!

The last couple of weeks there has been reports of a man offering children rides home. This new incident has not been confirmed as the same type of action. There has been posts that this incident was a man getting out of truck and trying to grab a little girl, when she twisted free he fell which enabled her to escape.
These posts are UNCONFIRMED. But it is CONFIRMED by police that something happened. So PLEASE TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN, WARN THEM AND EDUCATE THEM. KEEP ALL OUR ANGELS SAFE OUT THERE.

An online post in a Fort McMurray Facebook group describes it as happening yesterday morning around 7:30 am near Holy Trinity, and says that a man jumped out of a truck and tried to grab a student walking to school, who got away.

Fort McMurray Parents, Caregivers and the general public please be advised!! VERY IMPORTANT!!
A male suspect in a black pickup has been reported twice in the last few days trying to get young school aged children to accept a 'ride' with him.
Please warn your children, keep an extra close eye on them and keep an eye out for suspicious behaviour towards other children as well.
