The best compliment I get is “you’d never know these are gluten-free”

Because that’s always been the goal

Just because you have celiac doesn’t mean you should have to miss out on the gourmet cookies, the gooey cinnamon rolls or the little treats that make life sweeter

Every single thing I make is baked in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, so it’s safe for people with celiac and delicious enough that everyone reaches for one

With so many new faces here, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself 🫶🏻

Hi! I’m Shelby, wife, mom, ER nurse, and the owner/baker behind Home Sweet Gluten Free.

Home Sweet began after years of trial and error trying to create truly delicious gluten-free recipes for my husband after he was diagnosed with celiac disease. In 2019, after he unexpectedly lost 65 pounds, was dealing with daily abdominal pain, being told he may have cancer, countless tests, and two pregnancy losses, we finally got answers: celiac disease.

Since going gluten free, he’s healthy, thriving, and we’ve welcomed our two beautiful earth side babies 💕

That journey is the reason this business means so much to me. Everyone deserves treats that are not only safe, but make them feel included, celebrated, and never like they’re missing out.

This weekend I hosted my best friend’s baby shower and can you believe almost this entire table was celiac safe?And for anything that wasn’t, there was a safe option alongside it.

If you’re gluten-free, you know how rare it is to go to a party and not have to pack your own snacks beforehand. Being included so thoughtfully honestly means everything ✨
