I am in love with how this cake turned out! Customer just requested a cake for her husband. When collaborating with her for decorating ideas, I found out his drink of choice was bourbon. Right away I though I will make a whiskey barrel! I am so impressed with how it turned out! This is my famous Cantera carrot cake with a yummy cream cheese filling and a thin layer of cream cheese buttercream.

I haven’t made a two tier cake in a very long time. Not going to lie making this cake did stress me out but I love the end result! Love the simplicity and elegance of this cake. These little jars make a perfect basket stuffer and also makes a good covid friendly dessert! My favourite is the Cantera carrot cake. It gets its name from a friend of mine . Christy reached out to me about a year ago to make her a carrot cake I made it for her and she fell in love with it ! There was a period in time that she was ordering my carrot cake monthly. If you love carrot cake you will not be disappointed with this one.
