James needs meals for the week in the semi. This way he has a variety and not eating the same thing every night. Plus I have meals now as well.

Homemade dog food 🐕

I have had my little Diesel on a raw meat diet for a few years now because of yeast (gut) issues. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I started buying raw food and raw dehydrated treats for him. And it has done wonders for his gut health!!

Well about a month ago I ran out of his food and didn’t have time to get to town to our favourite pet place to buy more.

So I pulled out our ground venison and made up a small batch to tie him over.

Well he’s doing so amazing on my homemade version. That I decided to just keep making my own for him!

And, I think I even have the ratios of meat, carrots, spinach and pumpkin pretty much figured out for a balanced diet!

It’s is portioned out and frozen then put into bags. I pull out what he will need the night before and thaw in the fridge for his morning breakfast.

The only time he has problems with his gut now is when someone gives him food or treats that are processed.

Now I will have to maybe start making dehydrated treats for him.
