I have had this toddler sized hat for ages. But I didn’t like any of the pom poms. So I ordered a multi pack that just happened to have to ONE pom pom that was the perfect colour for it!!

Also, there still isn’t a pattern for this one. But I’m working on it! ❤️

I keep forgetting to post this!!! It’s available for purchase and it’s one of very few toddler sized hats I have in stock. Shoot me a DM if you know a little one that would rock this.

NOTE: the pom pom can be changed to a different colour - blue, green, purple, black, brown, white, multi, etc etc etc (making it suitable for any gender). If no one claims before I get a chance, I’ll post one with a different colour tomorrow to show how much a pom pom can change the overall look of a hat.

Also, more fun with AI props!! Only the hat and its accessories (pom, tag) are real 😜

Next up is another Droplet Beanie. Honestly, most of my stock is Droplet Beanies. It’s the funnest to make and the finished aesthetic is just so lovely.

I really love the colours on this one as it’s very light and elegant. Not gonna lie, if it doesn’t sell by the end of the year… I’m keeping it. If it sells, I’m making another lol

Unfortunately this one is not available anymore. I *thought* it was but I’ve searched high and low and someone must’ve snagged it awhile ago. Who? Your guess is as good as mine 😂 I have no clue.

But I thought I’d post it anyway as I’ve never written the pattern for this and now I’m kinda thinking I should… 🤔

I totally forgot to post today’s hat! But it’s not midnight yet, so I still made it. Barely.

This one is another adult sized Labyrinthine Beanie. This is one of my favourite beanies to wear. The design has a lot of give so it’s hard to mess up the size. When made up, it can be worn as a slouchy hat or fitted by rolling up the brim. DM to purchase or head to the link in my bio for the pattern so you can make one (or a bunch) of your own! Also, pretty sure I’m never buying photo props ever again. Who knew A.I. could be so useful for photography. Best thing ever!

***The Amaryllis Beanie***

I’ve decided this will be my first design of 2023 (crazy, right 😳). This is the Amaryllis Beanie!! I’m excited to release this to all of you very soon. It takes me so long to settle on a design but I shared some sneak peeks and you’ve all been so kind and have given me the push I needed to just DO IT! Thank you 🙏. Now… Just gotta dust off the ol’ laptop so I can actually write it. But stay tuned! It’s comin!!

So… this is just a draft 😂

I’m unsure about the aesthetic or if it’s original enough. But mainly, it fits funny (so now it’s mine 😆). I usually do 4-6 hats, making small (sometimes big) adjustments on each one. However, there are times I just end up coming back to the first idea I had. Sometimes I don’t realize how much I love a design until I start changing it. I know, kind of a strange process but it works for me! 💕

So… Let’s see what the next attempt brings!

O…M…G… this is my first crochet related post since APRIL! 😱

It’s been a weird year. I haven’t designed a single pattern in 2023 (currently working on it). And I’m just now, making my first beanie of the year… 😬

With that said, it’s really tricky these days to come up with an original design. I always feel like it’s “too close” to another design so I constantly frog and try again.

So that’s the story of my life as we speak;
Make hat, frog hat, try again, frog, try again, frog, get frustrated and stop, read until I’m not frustrated anymore, try again, frog, try again….. Pretty sure I’ll be frogging this one today too. BUT, I’m working hard to come up with a new design. It’s been so long that I feel it needs to be special ❤️

To my designer friends, does this happen to you a lot? Or am I severely overthinking it (I tend to do that in many areas of my life lol)?
