Happy Release Day to Reilly @ Pocket Full O’ Poseys | Crochet Patterns & Plushies and Oakley the Harvest Elf! 🎉🎉

I had the pleasure of testing Oakley, and let me tell ya—just like all of Reilly’s patterns, this one did NOT disappoint! 🥰

Oakley is ridiculously cute all on his own, but the pattern also includes 5 different hats! You can make one, or if your Oakley is an elf of indecision, make them all so he can alternate through them! 😂

And that’s not all! There’s also a sweet little vine necklace and a basket for collecting all his harvest goodies. You can mix and match to your heart’s (or Oakley’s) content!

This pattern is beautifully written and laid out, with lots of photos for reference along the way. It’s a relatively quick make and would be absolutely perfect for fall markets! 🍂

A little Bre Beanie tester appreciation post! 🥹💜

I seriously could not have asked for a better group of testers. They took my pattern, made it their own, asked questions, caught little things I missed, and helped me fine tune the pattern before sending it out into the wild.

IT’S TIME!! SHE’S OUT IN THE WILD!!🤗💜

After weeks of designing, frogging, tweaking, testing, photographing, filming tutorials, and probably saying “just one more little change” approximately 847 times… 😂

The Bre Beanie is officially HERE! 🎉

You can now grab the PDF crochet pattern and make your own, or if you don’t crochet, I’ve got you covered with finished Bre Beanies too!😉

A huge thank you to my incredible testers who helped me fine tune the pattern and made me so genuinely proud and excited to share it.🥹🩵
(I’ll be giving them their own proper moment tomorrow because they deserve it!)

Okay… now I can finally tell you the story behind this one🥹

I fell in love with these beautiful hand-dyed alpaca yarns from Haun Farm | Alberta Fiber Farm , and they sat in my stash for way too long because I knew they needed to become something special!

One day I was sitting here looking at them, and had a 💡 moment! The idea for a hat came to me…. But not just any hat, it had to capture the essence of the yarn. Like alpacas raised, sheared, the fibre carded, spun, plied and colored—all by hand! So I sat down with that in mind, and these stitches and the eventual pattern just flowed from my hands (don’t get me wrong, there was still a ton of trial and error…and frogging😅).

And because this design was inspired by the beautiful yarn Bre created herself, it only felt right to name the pattern after her💜

✨THE BRE BEANIE✨

I finally got to give her her hat and show her the pattern cover this week, and getting to tell her that I named it after her was such a special moment🩵

So this one will always have a little extra meaning for me🧶
