That first look feeling ✨

What is a first look, and why do couples choose to do one?

A first look is a private moment between the two of you before the ceremony, where you see each other for the first time on your wedding day.

For many couples, it’s about creating an intimate, emotional moment without the pressure of an audience. Wedding days can sometimes feel overwhelming, and seeing your person beforehand can help ground you, ease any nerves, and remind you that you’re in it together.

Some couples, like C+Z, also choose to exchange their vows during this time, allowing them to be fully present and open with each other in a more private setting.

For larger weddings, a first look can also be incredibly helpful from a planning perspective, allowing you to complete many of your photos beforehand and giving you more time to relax and mingle with your guests after the ceremony.
