And that’s a wrap! 🎬

It’s been a week of late nights and early mornings, baking up a storm for the Marc & Mandy Show. Seeing everything come together gave us a moment to appreciate how far Modern Whisk has come - and get excited about everything still ahead.

For me, the best part was sharing the day with Kendrick, our CTO (Chief Taste Officer), as he showed just how easy our mixes are to use. Getting to film alongside the little heartbeat of this company meant so much. 💛

Some new recipes are coming your way soon, including those gorgeous Cranberry Bliss Bars and old-school ginger molasses cookies. And those pumpkin cheesecake bars!!! You’ll want to make room for those.

We’re rounding out the week by sharing the baking with our local community and sending a little unexpected joy home in boxes. Getting some temptation out of our kitchen is a lovely bonus. 😉

As we settle into our last quiet weekend before the holiday push, I’d love to share something else I’ve been dreaming up: a Modern Whisk baking community.

A place to find your next favourite recipe, with support when you need it and people who understand the excitement of baking something you thought you’d never enjoy again. Somewhere you can get to know each other and share what’s coming out of your ovens.

It’s still taking shape, and your experiences will help us build it. What would help you feel more confident baking gluten-free? I’d love to hear in the comments.

At Modern Whisk, gratitude is part of our everyday conversations. We celebrate the good moments, appreciate the little wins, and even find reasons to be thankful for the tough lessons that help us grow.

And this year, we have SO much to be grateful for.

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PINCH-ME MOMENTS!!

Modern Whisk has OFFICIALLY landed at the Italian Centre Shop Calgary in Willow Park, YYC! 🎉

And WOW, does this one ever mean something to our family.

Some retail wins are exciting. Others stop you in your tracks and remind you why you started this crazy journey in the first place.

This is one of those.

Years of hard work, a whole lot of determination, and a dream that once seemed so far away.

But the best part wasn’t even seeing our products on the shelf. It was watching Kendrick discover them.

That moment was worth every bit of the journey.

To the incredible team at Italian Centre Shop, thank you for making us feel so welcome. We’re genuinely proud to be part of a store we’ve admired and supported for so many years.

And to our Calgary community, WE’RE HERE!!

We’ve walked past these doors for 18 months wondering when it would finally happen.

Well… it happened.

MODERN WHISK IS NOW AT Amaranth Foods MARKET!

Three of our four mixes are officially on shelves at both Calgary locations:

Decadent Brownie Mix
Cake Mix Base
Cookie Mix Base

And we are absolutely celebrating 3 out of 4.

We started conversations with Amaranth a year and a half ago. The timing wasn’t right, so we kept building, kept showing up and stayed patient.

Today, we’re in.

And next weekend, we bring Modern Whisk to St. Albert!

Now, if you happen to notice our Pancake & Waffle Mix is missing…

Ask for it. 🥞

Seriously. If you want it there, let them know. We’d love nothing more than to eventually see all four together.

But today belongs to the THREE that made it.

It took 18 months to get Modern Whisk onto these shelves.
