🌿 A Note from Duck & Dough…
This isn’t an easy post to write, but I wanted to share a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stopped by, supported, and cheered me on over the past couple of months. Opening my little stand and seeing so many familiar faces as well as new ones come out to enjoy my baked goods has meant more to me than I can ever put into words.

Baking has always been something that fills me with joy, and being able to share that with the Buckhorn community has truly been a dream come true. Unfortunately, due to some personal circumstances (and a little help from Mother Nature taking out my tent!), I’ve made the difficult decision to close my stand for now.

This isn’t goodbye — just a pause. I’ll be taking some time to regroup, refocus, and dream up a way to bring Duck & Dough back in a way that’s sustainable for my family and allows me to keep doing what I love most: baking for you.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the kindness, encouragement, and love you’ve shown. You’ve made this experience unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter leads. 💛

Get your taste buds ready for this weekend’s Treat Box! This one’s packed with cozy fall flavors and a touch of brightness! $20

•Lemon Roll Cake – Soft, delicate vanilla sponge with just a hint of lemon, filled with luscious lemon curd and Chantilly cream.
•Pumpkin Brownie – A rich chocolate brownie layered with creamy pumpkin goodness, baked right on top.
•Amaretto Cheesecake – Classic creamy cheesecake with that smooth, velvety texture we all love, on a buttery graham crust and kissed with amaretto.
•Apple Crumble Bar – Everything you love about apple pie in one bite: buttery shortbread base, spiced apples, crumbly topping, and a drizzle of caramel.

This Weekend’s Menu!
•I’m bringing back the Biscoff Cinnamon Buns — rolled up with cookie butter goodness and glazed with it too… basically a double Biscoff dream!
•Sourdough will of course be on the stand as well! Keep an eye out starting NEXT week for specialty sourdough loaves — think cheese & herb, sundried tomato & goat cheese, cinnamon swirl, and more. Each week I’ll have regular sourdough plus a flavoured option!
•Now for the Dessert/Treat Boxes — each box includes four different treats:
~Decadent Brownie topped with pumpkin spice cream
~Lemon Roll Slice — soft lemon sponge rolled with tangy lemon curd
~Amaretto Cheesecake — creamy, dreamy, and perfectly flavoured with amaretto
~Apple Crumble Bar — all the cozy flavours of apple pie in bar form
These boxes are perfect to bring to a gathering or to simply treat yourself at home!
➡️ $20 per box

I’ll also have:
~Boo-Scotti (a fun pumpkin biscotti!)
~Mini Coconut Macaroon Bags — great for gifting or adding on, at only just $5

And possibly a few surprise treats if I find some extra time in the kitchen tomorrow!

As always, pre-ordering is highly encouraged to guarantee your goodies.
Otherwise, the stand opens at 10 AM (I know it’s tempting to come early, but I’ll need that time to get everything displayed and ready for you!).
