Stollen.

German Stollen have been around for nearly 700 years and are prized throughout the world as a loved Christmas pastry.

Christmas stollen, known in Germany as Christstollen, is a yeast bread that is baked with dried fruits, candied citrus peel, nuts, spices and almond marzipan.
If you find Christmas fruit cake heavy and overly sweet, stollen might be the decedent Christmas treat you’ve been looking for.
Ours is made in the traditional way. The fruit is soaking in rum, and high quality marzipan log is rolled and folded into each loaf. This beautiful loaf has a long shelf life and will keep well at room temperature for a number of weeks.
We hope you and your kin love them.
Cheers

Shaping our Country Loaf. Afore named Classic Loaf. We think Country Loaf suits this hard working, naturally leavened, three grain bread. Can you see the lovely flecks of dark rye and spelt in the dough.
Out of the oven tomorrow morning.
