💖Today we say goodbye to a true legend💖
Dolly, you’ve been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.
From growing up wondering if we really had to work from 9-5 (because that was WAY longer than regular school hours!! 😂) to finally realizing that Jolene wasn’t the best, nicest, or smartest person in that song, or in life for that matter lol (and definitely made me NOT want to be her! 😂) and how we know we’d rather all love to be Islands in the Stream... you’ve been there through every stage of life.
And I know I’m certainly not alone in that. Millions of people around the world have grown up with your music, your humour, your heart and your incredible ability to make people feel like they could dream a little bigger.💖

You were, and always will be, a cup of ambition for me. Your inspiration, your strength, your kindness, your humour and your light have touched more lives than words could ever truly express.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughs, the memories, the lessons and for being unapologetically YOU.

Before I share all the sweet details, I’d love to share why strawberry season means so much to me.

As this year’s Strawberry Sale came to a close, I found myself feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who supported it. Nyà:węh (Thank you) to each and every one of you for your orders, your kind words, and for continuing to support my small business.

This sale has always been about more than strawberries. Within Haudenosaunee teachings, the strawberry is honoured as a sacred first fruit and one of our traditional healing medicines. Representing the heart, life, health, and emotional balance, strawberries remind us of forgiveness, kinship, healing, and renewal. As strawberry season comes each year, it offers an opportunity to gather in gratitude, strengthen our communities, and to share those teachings with others in a meaningful way.

One thing became very clear this year… my Strawberry Cupcakes were an absolute favourite! 🍓🧁

Because so many of you loved them, I’ve decided to bring together a few of my favourite strawberry creations for a special pre-sale, featuring Strawberry Cupcakes, Strawberry Cinnamon Buns, and Chocolate-Covered Strawberries.
