Watching someone connect the dots, understand the why behind sewing, and suddenly light up with excitement for what they can make next is such a rewarding experience. That spark of creativity, the confidence that grows with every stitch, and the pride in something made by hand—it never gets old.

Today, I had the pleasure of returning to Sheridan College’s Trafalgar Campus, working alongside the “Sheridan Aunties” as they created beautiful, cohesive ribbon skirts for upcoming events and graduation celebrations.

Seeing creativity, culture, and community come together in one space was truly special.

What a wonderful day. ✨🧵💐

We spent the day creating, stitching, and sharing stories while bringing ribbon work to life. From beautiful ribbon tote bags to a one-of-a-kind hoodie, every piece was made with creativity, intention, and personal style.
