As a kid, I despised onions. My parents would always try to entice me to eat them and I would flat out refuse to get anywhere near them. As I got older, I realized just how GOOD they actually are... but I will only eat them cooked unless they are in my moms feijão e cebola salada. (Chefs kiss!!!) I thought my fav way to eat them was sautéed on a big, fat juicy burger but I think this loaf of bread has changed my mind!

Caramelized onion sourdough loaf, with black sesame ☀️ (with a side of sunshine)

I can’t even begin to tell you how many sandwiches I plan on eating this week 😂

Mom’s favourite!! Seriously! She asks me to make this for her all the time. Even my 12 year old nephew is a fan of this loaf, but what the heck is it?! It’s LAVENDER!!

Nobody believes that this is as amazing as it is until they try it. One response I received was, “Lavender? That’s a scent not a flavour.” They were proved wrong once they took a bite!
