It’s taken me a bit but I have finally got some of the sapphires from my trip up the to Blue Jay Mine cleaned up and on display in the shop 😍 I will be working on getting them listed on my Etsy shop next. Then it will be back to prepping the rest of them and hopefully getting some cut and polished for jewelry

Something New is Coming to Alakoa Farm Camp! 🌻

I had a parent reach out to me recently and ask if I ever offer Pro-D Day Farm Camps… and I thought, why haven’t I thought of that?! 😂 My own kids are grown now, so I’m definitely not as in the loop with the school calendar as I used to be!

Typically, Farm Camp runs during Spring Break, one week in July and one week in August, but I think Pro-D Day camps would be such a great addition.

So this school year, we’re going to give it a try! ❤️

I’ll be looking at the upcoming Pro-D Day schedule and figuring out which dates we can offer here at the farm. The days will have all the things the kids love about Farm Camp — animals, crafts, baking, nature, outdoor adventures and plenty of time to just be kids. 🐐🐓🌲🧁

That’s a wrap on Summer Farm Camp! 🌻🐐☀️

What an awesome week with an amazing group of kids! ❤️

We packed so much into our days — made a TON of crafts, went on adventures, did some baking, learned about crystals, climbed trees, played at the river, hung out with the animals, got dirty, laughed lots and just enjoyed all the good things in life. 🌿💎🧁🌊

There’s something pretty special about watching kids unplug, explore, create, learn and just be kids.

A huge thank you Rachel for all you help and to all the parents who trusted us with your kiddos this week. We loved having them out at the farm and hope they went home with some pretty great memories (and probably a few dirty clothes 😂).

We are open today 12-4pm! Might want to watch your head when you enter the shop as the split tail swallows have a nest with 4 babies on the roof as you walk in 😂

Fresh Batch!!! After a crazy month I have finally found the time to restock the tallow deodorant and the whipped tallow lotion.

The deodorant is available in lemongrass, vanilla and lavender.

The whipped tallow lotion is available in Frankencense or Rose
