SOURDOUGH FOR DIABETICS

Compared to traditional bread Sourdough bread has a lower glycemic index. This is due to the natural fermentation process that breaks down starches and alters the carbohydrate structure which delays digestion.

🍞 My sourdough loafs are cold fermented 24 to 48 hours!

ALSO: 🥶 Freezing sourdough further enhances this process. It becomes a "resistant starch" and further blunts blood sugar spikes.

Tip: Pair your sourdough with a healthy fat to stabilize blood sugar and slow down digestion even more! Think Avocado toast 🥑. Use REAL butter 🧈 or pair with eggs! 🥚

I have a handful of frozen leftover from Sundays market if anyone wants one! $12 each.

Delicous as toast. I love adding sliced tomato on top! Also make an awesome breakfast sandwhich! I have heard of customers pairing it with spaghetti as well 👌

AND in new improved packaging! You can reheat them right in the package they are purchased in! These are equivalent to 2 of the servings I used to sell of the garlic parm foccacia.
