Hi guys ! I figured I would pop on here and introduce myself after reaching 100 instagram followers 🎉
No more wondering who’s behind this page making all your cute cakes !! It’s me ! My names Koda and I LOVE LOVE LOVE to bake. I’ve been doing all this since I was old enough to grab the spatula off the counter and lick it. I was a cake decorator at a bakery in another town for 2.5 years, doing birthday cakes, wedding cakes, carved cakes, 3D cakes, baby shower cakes, you name it …. I’ve likely done it. I moved to Black Diamond Alberta almost 2 years ago now with hopes to peruse my own ‘ buisness’ I tried and tried and tried with no luck. Gave up for about a year and a half, thought it might be a good idea to try again one day and with all the support of my friends and family things, started to take off !! I LOVE seeing all your ideas and bringing them to life.

A little bit more about me, when I’m not in the kitchen there’s a really really good chance you can catch me at my boyfriends farm/ranch, I love everything horses/cattle/rodeo/animals/outdoors/ country music/ anything western. My favourite time of the year has recently been discovered as winter surprisingly enough, only because I LOVE calving season ( I hate everything else about that time of year ).

It wouldn’t be without my ‘ bonus ‘ family’s love and support that I would have tried again and gained success. ( thank you boyfriend’s family ! I love you guys for pushing me to do this !) My mom is also one of ( if not the biggest ) supporters I have. I think back to my childhood and she was always slinging cakes for the neighborhood kids birthdays. By far my biggest supporter is my boyfriend, mainly for the reason I think he just likes eating cake scraps, and the extra treats I make just for content once in a while😚🩷

There we go ! Now we’re not strangers anymore !! Thank you guys all SO much for your support, I get no more joy in the world then when I get to bring your ideas to the table.
