Hi everyone. It appears that there must be another wild yeast bakery out there that apparently left a negative review about another company. Possibly a towing company. This was not me. I am trying to get the situation rectified. Right now I am being swamped with negative reviews.

Hi everyone! Just a note to say that I am full for orders until the new year. I have surgery next week. Hoping for a short recovery and then we will be into the week of Christmas in which I never have room in my fridge over Christmas and new years! I will be resuming bread making in January. Any current orders I have now will be fulfilled. Because I was late launching the cranberry orange( took 4 times to perfect, you would think i would write my recipe down lol, I did this year) I will be extending it until the end of January. Thank you all so much for your business and I hope you all have a Joyful and Merry Christmas.

10 Life Lessons I’ve Learned from Sourdough:
1. Patience holds power.
Sourdough doesn’t rush the process. Growth takes time—and sometimes, the best things rise slowly.

2. Control is limited.
You can guide wild yeast, but you can’t fully dictate how it behaves—just like life.

3. Being present matters.
Paying close attention to your dough—its texture, scent, and feel—reminds you how important it is to notice the little things, in baking and in people.

4. Rest fuels growth.
Dough needs downtime to rise properly. We need it too—progress often comes during the quiet moments.

5. Steady beats intense.
A healthy starter needs regular feedings, not big efforts now and then. The same goes for long-term success.

6. Imperfection adds charm.
No loaf is ever identical. Bread—and life—isn’t about flawless outcomes, but about richness and uniqueness.

7. Change requires effort.
Through time, heat, and work, flour and water become bread. Transformation always involves a process.

8. Everything is part of a bigger system.
Sourdough thrives because of a living community of organisms. Our well-being is also shaped by the relationships and systems we live within.

9. Trust your senses.
Instructions are helpful, but real progress comes when you rely on your intuition and feel your way forward.

10. Release when it’s time.

Super excited about my new bread that will be launching later this week. I think I will have a new favorite!! Made one minor tweak on the second trial run. Will bake tomorrow and hopefully launch Thursday or Friday!
