“Keep going.”
Funny how sometimes we need to hear those words the most when we’re hardest on ourselves.
Even today, I still catch myself thinking I’m not good enough. Not skilled enough. Not where I want to be yet.
But this torso cake reminds me that every level I’ve reached once felt impossible.
I created it during a 2-day workshop in London with Marina Machado Cakes at the Dawn Welton Cake School. More than just a cake, it became a symbol of what happens when you keep learning, practicing, and pushing beyond your comfort zone. Every technique I used was once something I thought was out of reach, which is why this piece feels like a reflection of my growth as much as my skills.
So I’m curious…
