What if the place you were afraid to visit… became the place you were afraid to live without?
When she first arrived in Hurghada, she had only one thought:
"I hope I'm going to be okay."
She was nervous.
She had heard stories.
She had questions.
She wasn't sure what to expect.
And then… something happened.
Something she never saw coming.
A few days later, she was standing by the sea, staring at the horizon, wondering how a place she had once been afraid of could suddenly feel so familiar.
The streets no longer felt strange.
The faces no longer felt unfamiliar.
And the people…
The people were different from the picture she had created in her mind.
Warm smiles.
Kindness from complete strangers.
Little moments that slowly made her feel safe… welcome… home.
But that wasn't the strangest part.
The strangest part came after she left.
Back home, everything was normal.
The same life.
The same streets.
The same routine.
Yet something was missing.
She couldn't explain it.
She could breathe…
but somehow, she couldn't breathe the same way.
She started missing the sea.
The sunsets.
The sound of Hurghada.
The feeling she had when she was there.
And then she understood something that frightened her even more than her first visit:
She hadn't simply fallen in love with Hurghada.
She had become emotionally attached to it.
So now, whenever she gets the chance…
Whenever life gives her a few free days…
She doesn't ask herself where she should go.
She already knows.
She goes back.
Back to Hurghada.
Because some places are just destinations.
And some places…
become a part of your soul.
Maybe that's why, when she's away from Hurghada, even the air feels different.
And when she finally comes back…
she takes that first deep breath by the Red Sea and thinks:
"Yes… this is where I can breathe again." ❤️🌊
Have you ever visited a place that somehow felt like it was waiting for you?
