Yesterday, an acquaintance of mine from Chattogram was looking for a cake for one of their events. I suggested ordering a homemade cake, so they entrusted me with the responsibility of arranging it.
As you can see in the photos, the first cake was ordered from a page in Chattogram, while the second cake is one that I made myself. Honestly, I'm just speechless. Are people supposed to eat cake or just cream? Can anyone even find the cake in the first picture? All I can see is cream.
On top of that, they couldn't even write the text on the cake properly. It wasn't anywhere close to the reference image. When I asked why the "D" in "GranD" was written in uppercase, they actually told me that a lowercase "d" didn't look good next to the uppercase "O."
Seriously? What kind of logic is that?
Instead of following the design I provided, they simply wrote whatever they wanted. The main focus of this cake was the lettering, and they completely failed to deliver it as requested.
I'm fully disappointed.
To those who recommended this page, I honestly don't know whether you're personally acquainted with the owner or if you've genuinely ordered from them before. But I would kindly request that people stop recommending pages that provide such poor-quality work and fail to meet customer expectations.
The money isn't the main issue here. But to those who run their businesses this way, I sincerely request that you please stop deceiving customers. And for anyone planning to order a cake, please do your research and be careful before making a purchase.
Unfortunately, I was short on time and had to place the order in a hurry within just one day.
👎 I've attached screenshots of the page in the comments.
