Simple pleasures.

Crafted with locally sourced organic flours grown and milled in NSW, filtered water, sea salt, and wild fermentation, our country loaf is slow made from start to finish. A long, natural ferment develops its rich flavour, airy crumb, and caramelised crust, creating a wholesome loaf with depth, character, and quiet simplicity.

Back this Saturday for ANZAC Day and the shelves are full. Think bagel inspired brioche knots with creamy cheese and garlic, topped with dill and caper bagel spread, cornichon and pickled onions, soft brioche burger buns, and our hummingbird cake layered with spiced banana, pineapple and coconut, finished with brown butter cream cheese icing and toasted coconut. There are classic ANZAC biscuits, sourdough doughnuts filled with raspberry jam or vanilla bean pastry cream, golden focaccia with olive oil and sea salt, cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing, and dark chocolate and pecan praline biscuits. Bread lineup is stacked too with Danish rye, country, wholegrain, seeded, sesame, fruit and nut, olive, plus seeded rolls.

We open at 7:30 am

A few goodies on the menu today:

Friday menu (17th April)

Lemon and almond loaf with honey-sweetened labneh and candied lemon

Mediterranean savoury muffins with feta, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted capsicum, olives and cheese

Choc chip PBJ slice: Belgian milk chocolate biscuit base with peanut butter and raspberry jam, topped with salted dark chocolate

Venetian biscuits- an Aussie classic, done the Madre way: buttery vanilla and coconut biscuits studded with currants, topped with vanilla bean-infused white chocolate

Also a little heads up we will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week re-open Saturday! So stock up today and tomorrow if you need bread.
