Our next empanada bake is on APRIL 15th 🤩💫 so exciting. We are also offering them with Merkén, if your taste buds are used to being on the spicer side, give them a go 🔥 Merkén is an iconic Chilean Mapuche seasoning and spice, its flavour is best described as a blend of smoky, earthy with abit of heat and some saltiness to it. Core ingredients are grounded goat horn chilli, a species of hot red pepper found throughout South America then mixed with salt, coriander and cumin.

What a joy is it to start this new endeavour, with none other than my beautifully kind-hearted and talented Mum Patricia, bringing to you the most traditionally made food, dishes and sweets from our Motherland Chile 🇨🇱. Showcasing her delicious food creations, which just couldn’t be left hidden and not be enjoyed and experienced by a wider audience. Always made with the best ingredients, utmost dedication, detail and most importantly love.

Nahuen (strength) a word derived from the Indigenous people of Chile (the Mapuche), resonates profoundly as a core value in the family. As a daughter from an immigrant mother that traveled to this beautiful country of Australia in search for a better future, how I have seen first hand the strength, courage and perseverance that defines her character to flourish in a new home and I’m sure many can share In this same experience.

We hope you join in this journey with us, and experience first hand the wonderful flavours, tastes and enticing smells from our most loved Chilean food and the family stories still to be lovingly shared 🤍✨
