When you have rare breeds of chooks you don’t muck around - 🐔 Our chooks are locked up — and yes, we take biosecurity seriously.
With bird flu continuing to be a concern, our chooks are currently being kept securely inside. We know there are always people who will say things are “manufactured”, exaggerated or unnecessary — but that doesn’t change the way we farm.
Biosecurity is there to protect our birds, our farm and the wider farming community. It’s something we will always take seriously, regardless of what anyone else thinks or says.
We’d much rather take sensible precautions now than wish we had later.
Our animals’ welfare and the health of our farm will always come first. 🐔❤️🌱
