🧡I’ve had a lot of people jump into my world here at Bayside Brownies recently and so I thought a little hello and welcome from me from to you was the perfect way to start the week!
🤎This is me, Jules. Why a picture with a cockatoo I hear you ask?! Well, I met this beauty at my market stall yesterday in the city. I have a thing for cockatoos (and pelicans, and kookaburras 🤪…. And well animals I guess!).
True to form I embarrassed my stall team member (my daughter!) by asking for a photo with it. It then duly gave me a kiss and sqwarked in my ear so loudly I was deaf for a good 5 mins 😝🥰. I’m not the quietest cookie, and I love to have a laugh and a joke, and despite being desperately shy as a child, I will now (as demonstrated) even talk to birds 😝
This is the beautiful thing about markets and why I love what I do. Working mainly by yourself baking all our delicious brownies can get lonely at times, so when I get the time to get out and about and meet our customers - you! - I love it!
You guys are what makes this business work. Small business is super hard on many levels, some of the hardest work I have ever done to be honest. But I love that with your support I can continue to do this and grow a successful business for years to come.
So don’t ever think your order is just an order. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, to me and my family as we continue to build this gluten free brownie empire 🙌.
