Support Work and Support Coordination—what’s the difference? 🤔
While both services can help you work towards your NDIS goals, they play very different roles.
🌿 Support Work provides practical, hands-on assistance with everyday activities, such as personal care, household tasks, accessing the community and building independence.
🌿 Support Coordination helps you understand your NDIS plan, connect with suitable providers and services, coordinate your supports, and build the confidence to manage your plan.
Simply put: a Support Coordinator can help organise and connect your supports, while a Support Worker helps deliver your day-to-day support.
Depending on your individual NDIS plan, you may have funding for one or both services.
