Finally posting a wedding cake & set up that’s been delayed due to covid, but finally they got their happy ever after. Cake and styling created to match the theme at Alrewas Hayes Country House Events Venue with three tiers stacked to 26” tall of yumminess. Top tier in cherry bakewell with frangipani filling, middle tier in biscoff flavour and bottom tier in raspberry white chocolate flavour, complete with handmade sugar flowers.

It’s always a pleasure being asked to make someone’s wedding cake and this was one from a while back. Three beautiful tiers in Limoncello, Vanilla & Belgium chocolate and classic Vanilla, dressed in fresh blooms in the beautiful setting of Alrewas Hayes Country House Events Venue. I had the pleasure of creating and setting up the wedding cake for Mr & Mrs Higgins at Thorpe Garden, just outside of Tamworth. A beautiful location set in a colourful walled garden and the sun was definitely shining. They chose a natural style two tier cake, with dried flowers, gold caramel drip and macarons, with the bottom tier in Baileys chocolate flavour and top tier fresh lemon flavour. With the heat in the Teepee at 30.5c when I arrived, they certainly ordered the sunshine ☀️.

What a cutie this cake was when it went out, in blush pink boho style. Thick layers of vanilla cake with milk chocolate filling and decorated with blush chocolate drip, fondant balls, geometric brownies and rose gold macarons, for a girl turning 18 🥳

Yesterday I had the wonderful pleasure of making and setting up the wedding cake, for Brooklyn & Jack Dodd. Set in the beautiful surroundings at The Mill Barns nr Bridgnorth, they chose a modern style cake dressed in blooms that matched their colour scheme. Bottom tier in raspberry ripple flavour and top tier in fresh lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd and cream filling. Congratulations both, wishing you a lifetime of happiness 🥳
