The Edge was one of the coolest observation decks I've ever been to. I've done Empire State, Summit One, One World, and Top of the Rock. But this one was exceptional on a clear day. You're mostly outside. There is an inside area too.

As you can see from the photos, I had the best day on Christmas Eve. It was mild weather. Probably the best weather I've ever had in the city. It made for stunning views and a view I hadn't really seen before.

Amazing.

Christmas in New York and into the new year - I did 2 trips, was nothing short of amazing. I did all the hotels worth seeing - Plaza, Waldorf, Peninsula and Lotte Palace. Hudson Yards. And all the city trees - Rockefeller, Bryant Park, Wall Street and Union Square. Weather was mild for the most part. And blue skies.

I scored snow on Dec 26. More photos to come on that. But this was everything I could have asked for. And may be the last visit I make for some time, given the climate. But those memories of my favourite city = priceless.

Just reliving the best day ever at the Holidays Made Here at Warner Bros. in Burbank. I explored, I felt so overwhelmed, I saw Luke. I was in tv heaven exploring everything Stars Hollow. If you want to see videos of it all - head to my Instagram and see the latest reels. I was lucky enough to have Lorelai's house all to myself for a good 10 mins. Plus Kim's Antiques and the Hartford sets too. Starting early really counted and allowed me to digest what I was experiencing all over the town. Tears flowed in my eyes for hours. It was just so real.

This was truly a life changing visit.

Today was the best day in Sydney. 28 degrees and perfect.

Doing the BridgeClimb Sydney and walking the Summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for my 40th birthday was the best way to celebrate this milestone.

It was the best 3 hours with a lovely group of people. Cannot recommend enough!!!!

I received a record player for my birthday - plus Taylor Swift's 1989 vinyl. Such a great gift!

I've always grown up with records and now I get to have them at home. I went through what my dad had in his collection and he has some gems - movie soundtracks and all. So I've been on a nostalgic step back in time this week that's for sure. This player also Bluetooths from your phone so you can use it that way too.

I need to hit up some record stores though, in Melbourne and in Sydney as I'll be there for 10 days at the start of April.

This Is 40 🥂

A night full of perfect decor, food and cocktails all hosted by me in my backyard and attended by some amazing friends and my mum. Garden party was the vibe and it went off without a hitch! All that decorating was so worth it! I made my cake too - as I have a cake making business.

Here is to an amazing 40 years of travel, memories and life milestones. Having lived overseas 3 times. To having amazing people in my life. The courage to travel solo anytime I can - next up is Sydney! And to dealing with the grief of losing a number of family members, especially my sister 5 years ago, and my nan last year. Life is so short. We need to live it everyday.

Best birthday ever.

On Feb 6th, I took my dad to see Bryan Adams in Melbourne. It's my 3rd concert seeing him (2 in Melbourne, 1 in London). This show was just incredible. Hands down, this man still has it!

But, it was the fact that at this concert, Bryan Adams and James Arthur sang the song "Rewrite the stars" at this show for what I am certain was the very first time they ever did. This song is from The Greatest Showman, a film my sister Nikki loved and that I watch now to help remember her. 6 months before she was in palliative care, Nikki was married and I quoted lyrics to this song in the speech I made at her wedding! It's been 5 years since we lost her. But when moments like these happen, serendipitous ones really, it reminds me that she is still there. They didn't have to sing this song (and did it brilliantly), but to hear that sung in person on that night, made this concert the most special one to me because of it. They all have been, but this was just perfection.

Thank you Bryan and James for giving me such a gift. You have no idea how much it meant.

Perfect Melbourne days in this weather. We explored, we ate, we drank and we had the best time. We truly feel lucky to have a city as amazing as this to call home. and I never tire of it.

If you like the Mornington Penninsula and thermal hot springs then make sure you spend a day at the Alba Hot Springs. It has a really tranquil feel, and in some ways had a futuristic vibe which was really cool.

My mum treated me to a day here. We spent 5 hours there. For $95 (concession $75) on weekdays, we had all day access to 22 contemporary geothermal pools, sauna and steam room plus the use of a locker, towel and bathrobe. They have an on site restaurant with nice food too which made the day just really relaxing. Our skin felt really refreshed too. They have really nice shower facilities and Dyson hair dryers once you're done.

This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back! So add it to your lists.
