We are hiring!!

Want to make the best Pasties in Australia with us??

A upsurge in demand of our products means that we are looking for p/t & casual assistants in our kitchen/store on military Road Neutral Bay , just down from the Oaks pub

We are small but very busy kitchen and cater for wholesale, consumer, online & retail customers. We are mostly in need of help in the preparation of our products but also general assistance in the kitchen.

This would suit someone who has spare hours to offer, has a genuine love for food (esp British food!!) and is prepared to muck-in, ideally with a commercial kitchen background. We are flexible with shifts

We are steadily growing so who knows what the future may offer

Proper Pork Pies!!

If you love your British food you will love these beauties - 100% handmade in our small store / kitchen .

Our hot-water crust pastry is hand-raised using traditional wooden dollies and filled with Bangalow Sweet pork shoulder & belly- Bangalow are celebrated for their sustainable agricultural practices and animal welfare and this shows in the quality of their pork. We season the meat with traditional spices before cooking. They are not supported in a tin or hoop which gives a more traditional appearance and are lovingly basted (twice!!) during the cooking process. . Once cooled they are filled with a savoury jelly and allowed to set.

The extended process cannot be rushed & can take 2-3 days but the extra effort & time is well worth the wait.

You can get these in-store (10-2pm weds to Sat) or order online properpasty.com.au for in-store pick-up or home delivery. If you are outside of area these can be delivered interstate through Delidoor.com.au

Pasty fans , we have a family wedding to attend on Saturday 16th May , so the shop will be closed sorry.

To compensate though we have an online discount of 20% available own ALL orders ( delivery & in-store pick-up) . This is available now through Saturday . If you are not in the delivery area on our website, please just get in touch, advising of your location and we will see if we can extend for this offer.

To remind you that all products are made by hand, onsite by us. The beef tin our pasties is the prized Cape Grim Hanger steak which is from 100% grass-fed, ethically raised cattle in Tasmania - absolute premium beef that you will not find in any other baked goods!!!
