Natalie Parker was the lucky winner of my 6” double layer cake give away that I ran a couple months ago. She chose to save the prize for her daughter’s 6th birthday with a theme of mermaids and purple 💜 🧜🏿‍♀️ She added on 24 cupcakes to share amongst Rylee’s party friends. I love how they turned out and hope it brings lots of joy! Happy Birthday, Rylee 🎂

Side note, I never intended to get into the birthday cake scene, as I feel its such a saturated & competitive space and the pressure freaks me out a bit. But..here we are 😂
I still don’t rate myself as a birthday cake profesh, but have really enjoyed creating all the birthday cakes over the last couple of years. I greatly appreciate all my lovely friends for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their kids birthdays and practice my skills ♥️ I’m loving these new piping tips and I tried out some natural food colouring options that weren’t Hoppers this time. I think it worked well! 😍

I did a custom mini cupcake order today for a lovely friend and long time customer 🧁 Aren’t they just the cutest!
She is going to freeze these for her son to take to school when there is a class birthday or celebration on. Which means he doesn’t miss out on the fun but she knows he is having a quality treat without all the crap!

These tasty morsels would not last long in this house 😋

Last Friday’s bake day was crazy long and challenging..my oven was playing up and multiple batches werent working which meant redoing them, I was exahusted and defeated. It’s also hard getting out of bed so early during Winter..dragging my family out of their slumber to the freezing cold to sell my cakes. But as it always does, market day renews my love and purpose. Serving my cakes, connecting with beautiful customers & stallholders and hearing their amazing feedback really warms my heart ♥️ I get excited again about what else I can bake and where else I can go.

Thank you to my lovely family and friends BUT most importantly the incredible customers that buy my cakes. I am so grateful.

My gluten free cakes are delicious and moist, not too sweet and well balanced with the icings. I use cleaner & quality ingredients and I can guarantee that it will be the best gluten free cake you’ve tasted 😘

I was so looking forward to being at the this coming Saturday 13th June, but I unfortunately cannot attend as we’re travelling interstate for a family funeral. Sorry! I am hoping to find another market to attend for June, so stay tuned for announcements.
