August Workshop – What a Fabulous Day!

What a wonderful day of creating with 18 lovely ladies at my August workshop!
There was plenty of scrapbooking, chatting, laughter and, of course, beautiful page layouts being created.

We completed a gorgeous Ocean Treasures – Under the Sea page layout, designed by the talented Christine Vicha.
We also had fun creating the fabulous Fireworks Page Layout, designed by Jenny Mancini.
I shared one of my own Hydrangea Page Layouts, demonstrating a fun tool technique by punching around the edge of a 12” x 12” designer paper to create a beautiful decorative frame.

I also did a demonstration of the new Creative Memories Die Cutting & Embossing System, showing the ladies how this exciting new tool can be used to create custom shapes, titles, embellishments and embossed details for our projects.

I absolutely love seeing how everyone puts their own creative touch on their layouts. Thank you to all 18 ladies who joined me and made the day so enjoyable.

Creating with the Scalloped Doily Border & Frame Punch

I finally got the chance to open my Secret Box #3 and have a play with the beautifully designed Scalloped Doily Border & Frame Punch — and I absolutely love the gorgeous detail it creates!

For my layout, I started with a 12” x 12” Raspberry Cardstock and trimmed it to create a 1-3/4” frame. I then used the Scalloped Doily Border & Frame Punch around the frame to give it that beautiful decorative edge.
