I have fond memories of when I was a young child, helping my mum and dad bake easter bread (Tsoureki) and other greek sweets. That smell of freshly baked bread filling the house and the excitement of my dad making a crocodile Tsoureki with a red egg in its mouth.

My mum’s mum, my yiayia, passed on these recipes to her daughter and my mum passed them on to me.
Now that I am a mother myself, I cannot wait to teach my children the recipes that I loved all throughout my childhood.
