Polyhair in the Youth Detention Centre 😭🙏🏽

Today was my first day at the Juvenile detention centre. Mixed emotions, I was grateful to have Lei guiding me through the whole process. We also did haircuts and styling, and taught them about hair care. I Couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity 💟

RED 😵‍💫

Most stubborn colour to strip or lighten ❌

Today was a 7hr job - Light shampoo bleach to move the red, we needed this to go orange or a light pink so it would lift when we did the full head foils. - We foiled in 2 sections to avoid as much damage! We did the colour in between to flush out as much red as possible..

We knew we couldn’t get all the red out but I will try to blend the colour as best as I could..
