For anyone new here (and those who’ve been patiently waiting)… let me re-introduce myself!
I’m Mel, a mum of two, a travel concierge working in a travel agency & Cafe (based in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast), and a cookie artist who’s been a little quiet lately.
Between returning to my travel career and a recent house move that completely took over the last 6 months, my cookies had to take a back seat—but not my heart. I’ve missed this creative space more than I can say and I’m so excited to slowly get back into doing what I love.

We hosted a Christmas cookie decorating activity this week at Globe Trotters Travel Café in Mudgeeraba, and it was a hit with the kids! Icing, sprinkles, and a special paint-your-own cookie session led by Lamazing Cookies made it extra sweet. We can’t wait to bring more fun events like this next year!

A little update, Iv been a little quiet but I will be back later this year to help bake and create for all your special occasions. I have still been taking orders but Iv lacked time in sharing all the beautiful designs on my socials. For all of you that have reached out, I appreciate you.

Congratulations to all those graduating at this time. What an accomplishment. My eldest graduated from primary school and I couldnt be more excited and emotional. Hats off to all the kids and all the parents, carers, family, friends and village it took to accomplish such big milestones. I have loved creating graduating cookie packs for so many kids that Iv been able to watch grow over the years. Proud to be apart of the journey.

PYO which stands for Paint Your Own is one of the most popular sellers at any season. An easy and fun way for kids to paint their cookie. A little drop of water onto the brush then onto the coloured dot activates the coloured icing dot and away they paint.

I am married!! Finally after 19 years together. I have actually known my Husband for 32 years, we sat next to each other in our preschool photo when we were 5, and found our way back to each other in Highschool.

I used cookies as the guest seating card. 3 incredible colours, light pink, hot pink and a gorgeous hot purple.
