Chef's farwell chopping block cake.
A mad rush this one was... turned it out last minute. Repeat design just bigger ! Linda made the actual cake (which was delicious), I was only going to 'aid' in making bits and pieces but due to circumstances beyond our control I kinda had to take over and get it done ! lol
Everything edible and everything hand painted ....

Kara's carapark caravan cake
3 layers ; banana cake, vanilla bean mud, chocolate ganache cake all filled and coated in coconut butter cream (think of chocolate banana coconut cream 'pie').
This is the best photo I got of it complete !
I was in such a rush to get it to the venue there wasn't anytime for setting up and taking multiple photos and I didn't even stick the street sign in till I got there ! lol

ahhhhhh that moment when a cake is FINISHED is the best feeling...even if it is after 1am in the morning !
All will be revealed tomorrow night (cant show you any sneaky pics as the birthday girl may be snooping around here)... she has zero idea what her cakes looks like, what's on it or what I did ! NADDA !

got a whole pile of fondant 'bits and pieces' here; this is the most frustrating part about cake making.. when you're stuck to decide on the final design ! Clocks ticking !
Many thanks to my hubby who made a mad dash to get me some more fondant this morning !

Small intimate wedding, prior to S & B diamonte initials being placed into the top. We decided to put the brides initial first so it wasn't BS ! lol

I've been really slack at sharing photos ! I'll endeavour to share a pile of pics tonight.
Currently I'm working on a cake with 'full artistic licence'.. the birthday girl has no choice ! She's either smart or crazy?

Plus trying to squeeze in a cake for my 'little girls' sweet 16th !
