DITL of a market baker 👩🏽‍🍳 the day started at 5.30am and probably finished 5.30pm because I managed to cramp everything into 1 day while I enjoyed my ‘week off’ 🤭

Where did this week go!?? Flashback it was a busy one-

Monday back to school caught up on housework and tried to organise my life 🥲

Tuesday groceries baked decorated and delivered a birthday cake for the amazing finished the day with yon yoga

Wednesday wholesale order red velvet, banana cake, almond bread, Greek crescents, rumballs delivered to for their cafe opening on Thursday

Thursday baked macarons had a bit of a quiet day

Friday fill macarons, more rumballs, back to supermarket, white chocolate apricot balls for a special girls first birthday party 💖

Saturday “day off” which consisted of my kids nagging me to take them to the Irymple pools and to go fishing which we did not and I managed to deep clean my house finally but you would never know it you came past today 🫣🥲

Sunday woke up and baked lemon biscuits, GF orange almond cakes, Xmas shortbread, loaded the van, arrive at location, setup, realise I forgot my fruit platter in the fridge which Daniel and the girls dropped off for me 🙏🏼 brewed a few coffees enjoyed the serenity, packed up and headed home by 1pm

Wondered why I was so tired and needed a nanna nap, cleaned up cooked dinner kids in bed and waiting for the elves to arrive 🥱

It’s been a week and not even December yet!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and those elves don’t get up to too much mischief tonight 🤞🏼

Happy Friday!

Here’s a little snippet of the macs that I made yesterday- something I will never get sick of making even though I did quit trying probably 12 years ago after many failed attempts 🫣🤭 the truth is it doesn’t matter how well you follow a recipe sometimes you just need to make little adjustments, learn from your mistakes and blossom within the journey.

Everything I share with you is self taught and with no professional qualifications behind me (maybe one day I can call myself a pastry chef 👩🏽‍🍳 🤭) but for now it’s just me & my with passion and big dreams to chase.

Credit to those who are qualified but I think we should also acknowledge how truly brave it is for someone to step out of there comfort zone doing something they love to share with the world!
