A bold red‑and‑black netball cake to celebrate a 12th birthday.

The cake was made with red buttercream and a black chocolate drip. The customer finished it off with a beautiful netball-inspired topper which complete the design.

Loved creating this custom cake for a netball‑loving birthday girl.

Another order from last week — a thoughtful customer arranging cupcakes for her mum’s birthday over the weekend.

The customer sent through an inspiration picture, and I’ll be honest… I thought it might push me a little out of my comfort zone, but challenge accepted, and I’m so glad I did!
These pretty pink cupcakes turned out to be such a sweet success. Soft swirls, delicate details, and a whole lot of love baked into every one. 🩷

💜 Welcome to The Purple Apron! 💜

After much encouragement from so many people, I have taken the leap, and I’m so excited to finally share this little dream of mine with you all.

While cakes and cupcakes are my focus right now, I look forward to expanding my range of baked creations as The Purple Apron grows. 💜

Please feel free to invite your friends and family to follow along!

As The Purple Apron is still in its early stages, there are a few things that are still being finalised, so please bear with me as I get everything up and running.

Thank you for your patience and support—it truly means the world to me. 💜
