The The Grogans are back with a defiant anthem about refusing to settle for less. ‘Reasons’ channels frustration into momentum, pairing relentless energy with the band’s most dynamic and confident sound to date.

This single marks a major milestone for the band, after five acclaimed studio albums built on instinct, chemistry and a fiercely independent spirit, The Grogans enlisted a producer for the first time, teaming up with acclaimed producer and mixer Steven Schram (Paul Kelly, Crowded House, TISM, Mildlife), with mastering by Joseph Carra Carra.

‘Reasons’ captures a band hitting its stride and continuing to evolve, without sacrificing the raw urgency and grit that have always been at the heart of their sound.

Introducing the Australian Music Touring Network, a national venue platform to connect Australia’s live music community

Every artist. Every venue. Connected.

Registrations now open

Australia’s live music industry is taking a major step towards a more connected touring future with the launch of venue registrations for the Australian Music Touring Network (AMTN), a free national platform designed to connect original live music venues to artists, tour managers and industry professionals across the country.

Developed by the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), the Australian Music Touring Network will, for the first time, bring Australia’s original live music venues together in one living, map-based directory. The platform is designed to make touring easier by helping artists and their teams identify suitable venues, discover new touring opportunities and build stronger connections across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.

“Touring is the lifeblood of our industry, and knowing where to take your music and who to connect with is essential to every artist. The Australian Music Touring Network connects artists to venues, and promotes touring and industry relationships across the country. I’m really proud to be working on a project that addresses equity of access to information, and provides the tools needed to form the relationships that underpin successful touring.” - Emily Tulloch, Acting General Manager, Australian Music Industry Network

The opening of venue registrations marks the first stage of the platform’s national rollout, with the full public platform launching later in 2026 for artists, tour managers and the broader music community.

Who will you meet at Indie-Con - Introducing Amanda Blue from Blue Music Services who specialises in music PR, marketing and project management.

“I’m very privileged to work with an incredible and varied list of clients and artists, including Bebe Rexha, CYRIL, Dean Turnley, FISHER, Hooligan Hefs, Melanie C, Ruel, and more.

Music is such a powerful connector – it builds community, shapes identity, and taps into the psychology of how we feel and relate to each other. At its core, it’s one of the few things that can bring people together instantly. In a world that can often feel divided, it’s meaningful to work on projects that aim to unite people, even in small ways.”

New Music - !

Fresh off being named a Top 10 Global Emerging Songwriter in the prestigious Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, Tig returns with ‘Alice Says’, a sharp-edged, cathartic punk-pop release produced by .c.dawson of .

Trading dreamy introspection for distortion, attitude and release, ‘Alice Says’ channels a nostalgic bite of Tig’s 90s and early-2000s influences, somewhere between Middle Kids, Killing Heidi and Angie McMahon; while retaining the emotional depth that has quickly earned her a reputation as one of Australia’s most compelling emerging songwriters.
