Sweet and Savoury treats for all occasions. In the first few hours of experimenting was born a baking guru, and the rest became history.

Soniya Survase- Clinical Researcher by day, baking queen by night- stumbled upon the world of baking one eventless Sunday afternoon many moons ago. Although a devoted baker from a very young age, Soniya simply wasn’t ready to abandon the reliable world of medical research for the high-stakes game of owning a business. But the encouragement, inspiration and the creativity she found among the commun

ity that has accompanied her through her baking journey – there no longer remains a choice! She is friendly, well-liked, enthusiastic, and lactose intolerant. However, not being able to eat dairy has not been a problem for Soniya. Her genius lies in her deep understanding of ingredients, coaxing the very best out of them. Adding to which her thoughtful and caring personality seeps into her recipes yielding memorable treats for your every special moment. Baking has taken permanent residence in Soniya’s double life and she hopes her company, her passion, will satisfy every gastronomical desire. Slice of Passion supplies cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other desserts. We cater for all occasions, big or small. A little different from the usual cakes around here ✨

This ‘macaroon’ tower was created for a beautiful friend, with the vision of something soft, romantic and a little unexpected 🌸💜

What sounded simple in my mind definitely tested me more than expected behind the scenes 😅

Working out the proportions and structure, selecting florals that would enhance rather than overpower the piece, and then making the careful drive over hoping everything would stay perfectly in place…🫣

But seeing it finally come together made every moment worth it ✨

A really special creation to bring to life for our beautiful bride-to-be ♥️
